Voitra Services Platform
home
The Voitra Services Platform (VSP) is a fully fault tolerant, scalable all VoIP solution for integrating heterogeneous network elements and data resources with live or automated agent services. It was designed from the ground up for Next-Gen IMS networks and will integrate with any Softswitch that supports SIP (the industries most accepted Voice over IP call control protocol).
Based on the Java JAIN SLEE specification, which defines standards for interfacing services with network resources, the VSP Application Server is optimized for low latency, high throughput applications. It provides an integration point for multiple network resources and a standards based approach for creating new services. Logic for skills based routing, service routing, and call control is easily modifiable. Throughout the duration of a call the VSP Application controls the signaling path only, and directs the voice or media between end points, this design substantially reduces hardware requirements, and eliminates any potential for echo or latency.
Automation is achieved on an all IP media server with built in support for record and playback of sound files, Automated Speech Recognition (ASR), and Text To Speech (TTS). Any ASR or TTS vendor that conforms to the Media Resource Control Protocol (MRCP) is also supported. The VSP IP Media Server is an all software solution based on Host Media Processing (HMP) which eliminates costly hardware based Digital Signal Processing (DSP) resources and can scale easily by adding additional CPU's or host machines. Call dialog logic is maintained in standard VXML scripts which are easily modified. The VSP platform includes the IP Media Server, but this functionality could be augmented or substituted by most IP media server platforms that support VXML.
